To Our Valued User Group Community
INTRODUCTION TO AFSUG AND MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR 2019

We thank all our past Customer and Partner Member's whom continue to support The African SAP User Group, and again, the decision has been made that the Membership Fees for 2019 will not be increased, should you pay the invoice before the 31st December 2018, you receive the 5% discount which cancels out any increase in the fee structure.

Please click here visit www.hellosaphila2019.com for further cost benefits should you wish to attend Saphila 2019, and a paid-up membership value add to your cost in attending.

See below the new AFSUG Board Member structure as it has changed, and now being Chaired by Jo Stewart – IT Manger – AECI and Reg Barry, as the Chairman for Saphila Steercom 2019.

AFSUG thanks Jo Stewart for taking up the position as an interim action until further notice whereby the Board will look at additional candidates based on capacity in chairing AFSUG. Marius Vermeulen will be stepping down as a Partner Board Member, and Ilse Keulder – Accenture, taking over the Treasury Portfolio in continuing the transparent governance AFSUG has in place to manage the annual budget and expenses.

Should you have any further queries and require assistance in understanding the structure or further wish to have an Internal Marketing Session take place at your organisation to further understand the benefits in a paid up membership, please contact tracey.greig@afsug.com or Genevieve.myburgh@afsug.com should your query relate to an invoice and payment of your membership for 2019?

AFSUG continues to grow year on year, through the many volunteers that are passionate and serve the user community, without the Board Member's and Special Interest Group Member's, participation - AFSUG would not be the success it is.
What does AFSUG offer?
The actual SIG's are operated by customer and partner volunteers who represent the SIG as the steercom, chaired by a Customer and supported by other customer, partner and SAP representatives. Our many Volunteers are integral in operating our events and in such AFSUG. Steercom Meetings take place once a month, either face to face or dial in when necessary.
This is where the topic's, dates and any other pertinent information is shared and confirmed in order to release the event dates by quarter and pull together AGENDA's that add value to the SAP Customer and Partner base. As always, we rely heavily on customers sharing experiences first hand as the core mission and vision of AFSUG is to connect, create and collaborate through providing a platform whereby the SAP Ecosystem can network in person.

1662 customers attended 54 events in 2016, and we
urge you to join us in increasing the attendance by
not only participating through attending an event,
but where you can offer a topic or speaker,
please do reach out to us.
WHAT DOES AFSUG OFFER?
1
First hand success stories on implementations, project guidelines, the why and the how as to the project, from conception to implementation?
2
Why buy SAP and what research went into choosing SAP as the main solution?
3
Making new connections through meeting in person customers and partners who have a huge amount of experience to share with fellow SAP Peers, Experts, Partners who share knowledge and further case studies and Successful Implementations and many more solutions and news as they are rolled out by SAP.
2019 Event Quarter 1 will be posted by end of January 2019
The board made a decision that there will be no increase for the AFSUG Membership fees in 2018, however we still offer you the 5% discount should you pay before the 31st December 2018.
