We thank all our past Customer and Partner Member's whom continue to support The African SAP User Group, and again, the decision has been made that the Membership Fees for 2019 will not be increased, should you pay the invoice before the 31st December 2018, you receive the 5% discount which cancels out any increase in the fee structure.

See below the new AFSUG Board Member structure as it has changed, and now being Chaired by Jo Stewart – IT Manger – AECI and Reg Barry, as the Chairman for Saphila Steercom 2019.

AFSUG thanks Jo Stewart for taking up the position as an interim action until further notice whereby the Board will look at additional candidates based on capacity in chairing AFSUG. Marius Vermeulen will be stepping down as a Partner Board Member, and Ilse Keulder – Accenture, taking over the Treasury Portfolio in continuing the transparent governance AFSUG has in place to manage the annual budget and expenses.

AFSUG continues to grow year on year, through the many volunteers that are passionate and serve the user community, without the Board Member's and Special Interest Group Member's, participation - AFSUG would not be the success it is.
What does AFSUG offer?
The actual SIG's are operated by customer and partner volunteers who represent the SIG as the steercom, chaired by a Customer and supported by other customer, partner and SAP representatives. Our many Volunteers are integral in operating our events and in such AFSUG. Steercom Meetings take place once a month, either face to face or dial in when necessary.
This is where the topic's, dates and any other pertinent information is shared and confirmed in order to release the event dates by quarter and pull together AGENDA's that add value to the SAP Customer and Partner base. As always, we rely heavily on customers sharing experiences first hand as the core mission and vision of AFSUG is to connect, create and collaborate through providing a platform whereby the SAP Ecosystem can network in person.
